AICOM allow researchers to acquire training data for gaze estimation AI while participants to experience the game while having fun with each other.

ACTIVITIES
There are two activities.
Data Set Construction Game and Workshop.
First, the questioner identifies the word and letter in question.
STEP 1
The questioner then uses gaze to communicate each letter of the question to the answerer.
The answerer reads the questioner's gaze position and notes the approximate location of the letters.
STEP 2
Finally, the answerer guesses all the letters so that the whole makes sense as a word, using the clue letters and location notes.
STEP 3
HOW TO PLAY
Data Set Construction Game
The game is played in pairs, with the players working together as an answerer and a questioner.
The object of the game is for the questioner to convey the hidden letter with a gaze,
and the answerer to use it as a clue to guess the whole word.

Gaze Estimation Technology : Sugano Laboratory
Institute of Industrial Science, The University of Tokyo
Sugano Laboratory is working on developing an AI technology for gaze estimation using only a regular camera without any special devices. Collected facial data at the game will be used for AI training data.

Past Implementation Results
The program was conducted in a variety of locations, including senior citizen communities, young adult communities, and science museums.
More than 100 diverse participants, ranging in age from 7 to 80, and including people with hearing impairments, participated in the program.
